The Procedure For Purchasing A Gun On This Auction

Is The Same As Buying At A Gun Store:

 

 

LOCAL BUYERS PLEASE READ

1- If you purchase a gun and will be paying/ picking up at our office in Carthage, please DO NOT stop in until Tuesday, March 19th, or after.

Unless you are a dealer, or have a dealer's license with you.

The Holding Period Starts On Saturday.

There is a full 3-day holding period, no guns can be handed out to non-dealers until Tuesday or after anyway.

 

 

2- Once you stop in, Tuesday or after, we will have you fill out a 4473 Transfer Form and we will then run your background check. If your background check comes back "Approved", you will be able to take your gun(s) with you that day. If your background check comes back "Pending", you will have to come back and pick up once your background is "Approved". It is not uncommon for Illinois/ ATF background checks to be "Pending" for a few days. You are welcome to stop in on Monday, but even if your background check is "Approved", you wouldn't be able to pick up until Tuesday, or after any way.

 

3- If you are a local buyer and are from IA or MO, you will need to do any handgun transfers in the state in which you reside.

We will take handgun purchases and Illinois Banned Items to West Quincy or Keokuk free of charge.

Long gun transfers can be done at our office, or taken to West Quincy/ Keokuk with handguns. (Shipping options also available) 

 

Any Items that are "Banned" in Illinois will have a disclaimer at the beginning of the description.

We will NOT do transfer paperwork on any "Banned" items, regardless of the buyer's location.

Illinois residents CANNOT bid on "banned items".

"Banned" items will need to be:
1- Shipped to a dealer
2- Picked up by a dealer
3- Delivered to Keokuk, IA or West Quincy, MO

 

If the only "Tactical Feature" of a semi-automatic gun is

that it has a detachable magazine that is over the "10 or 15" round legal capacity,

Illinois residents can buy it,

we simply will not give the magazine to an Illinois buyer.

 

 

 

There is a 10% Buyers Premium for all buyers. 

There is a $15 per gun transfer fee - This applies to dealers

 

PAYMENT OPTIONS

1- ACH (e-check) - SAME AS SENDING A CHECK - ONLY QUICKER.

Click the PAY NOW button on your invoice for options (1.5% processing fee).

PLEASE NOTE- Invoices will automatically default to show the credit card processing fee of 4%.

However, when the ACH payment method is selected and the check information has been added,

the checkout screen will update to show the new processing fee only 1.5% with a $.50 flat fee.

 

2- Credit/ Debit Card

Click the Pay Now button on your invoice for options (4% processing fee).

 

3- Wire Transfer

Email us for instructions (no fee).

 

4- Pay In Person

Local buyers paying in person DO NOT NEED TO LET US KNOW

Unless they will not be in the week following the auction.

 

 

WE DO NOT ACCEPT PAYMENT THROUGH THE MAIL (even if you have sent us payment in the past)...

Background Checks In Illinois

Could Take Longer Than The 72 Hour Waiting Period.

This Is Out Of Our Control.

We Will Not Hand Out Any Guns Before

The Buyer's Background Check Has Been Approved.

 

 

Guns Can Also Be Shipped.

If You Would Prefer To Have Your Guns Shipped

To A dealer Closer To You, It Is No Problem.

Please Have Your Dealer Email Us A Copy Of Their FFL,

We Will Then Ship The Guns To The Address On The FFL.

You Will Then Take Care Of All The Paperwork Through Them.

Sales tax will be automatically calculated at the time of checkout based on a variety of factors including: State, City & County jurisdiction requirements, shipping to address, shipping from address and category of item purchased.

 

 

 

- ALL GUNS BEING SHIPPED MUST BE SHIPPED TO AN FFL OR C&R - THIS INCLUDES BLACK POWDERS & ANTIQUES - This is an Illinois Law ….

 

- It is the buyer's responsibility to get us a Federal Firearms License copy (FFL) for shipping (Sporting Goods Store, Pawn Shop or Local Gun Dealer) - auction@willsullivanauction.com ….

 

- Guns may be picked up to avoid shipping costs.

of every possible angle of each gun, so that potential buyers know exactly

what they are bidding on. Our pictures equally represent each gun's good & bad features.

Shipping Instructions:

$60 for the first gun purchased, then $10 for each additional gun, regardless if you purchase a long gun or handgun.

 

Shipping is based on the number of guns that you purchase, not on size/ weight.

Items other than firearms will have a shipping cost listed at the end of the description.

WE WAIT FIVE DAYS AFTER THE AUCTION BEFORE WE START PACKING/ SHIPPING.

Items will be shipped out within 10 business days of the auction if items have been paid for in full and we have a Dealer’s License for shipping (if applicable)...

Each successful buyer will receive a tracking number from UPS when their package(s) have shipped.....
